The modern M/Y Danubio Azul was launched in 2016. The small ship cruise vessel has just five cabins, accommodating ten guests per trip. Three cabins have bunk beds, one has twin beds, and one has a double bed. Each comfortable cabin has a private bathroom, air conditioning, adequate storage space, which includes under-bed storage, and a window or port hole. Meals can be enjoyed al fresco as you feast your eyes on the views from the covered dining area. Diving is at the core of cruises aboard the M.Y. Danubio Azul. Wetsuits and snorkeling gear are carried on the boat, and packages include diving tanks and weights. A professional diving naturalist guide also accompanies your trip, helping you to get the most out of your explorations in the magnificent and bio-diverse Galapagos.

Set sail aboard the MY Danubio Azul for a fabulous seven-night diving vacation in the Galapagos. Trips start and finish in Baltra. Your cruise will take you to Bartolome, Darwin & Wolf Islands, Punta Shark Bay, Marshall Cape, and more. The amount of aquatic life that you will encounter is staggering. There are more than 400 species of fish that live in the waters around the Galapagos, including sunfish, batfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, grunt, grouper, surgeonfish, and frogfish. Turtles, eels, starfish, seahorses, crabs, corals, lobsters, sea slugs, sea urchins, and anemones are just a few other living creatures you are likely to spot in the waters. Shark species include Galapagos sharks, hammerhead sharks, whale sharks, and silky sharks. The Galapagos also has a wide assortment of bird life, with boobies, penguins, and cormorants commonly encountered whilst diving.
