First day:

AM: Pick up from the airport and drop off at the hotel

Afternoon: Lunch and Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, An incredible place where you can learn about the history of the Galapagos Ilsands as well as thier flora and fauna. Also the famous as the home of legendary Lonsome George (Chelonoidis nigra abingdonii), (the last tortise remaining of his species). Lonsome George was origianally from Pinta island. In 1971 he was brought to the research station in Santa Cruz. He died on June 24th 2012.

Second Day:

Am: Santa Cruz Island bay tour, includes snorkeling in La Loberia and hiking around the island. We will visit the Shark Channel (Tintoreras) and the Lovers Channel (Canal Del Amor) then we will walk to the cristal clear waters of Las Grietas.

PM: Visit the Highlands of Santa Cruz and see the Galapagos turtles in their natural hábitat. Then we will go visit and hike through the lava tunels.

Third Day: Bartolome Island.

Bartolome Island (Spanish: Isla Bartolomé) is a volcanic islet in the Galapagos Island group. It is a volcanic islet just off the east coast of Santiago Island. It is one of the "younger" islands in the Galapagos archipelago. This island, and Sulivan Bay on Santiago island, are named after naturalist and lifelong friend of Charles Darwin, Sir Bartolome James Sulivan, who was a lieutenant aboard HMS Beagle.

With a total land area of just 1.2 square kilometres (0.5 square miles), this island offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in the archipelago. The island consists of an extinct volcano and a variety of red, orange, green, and glistening black volcanic formations.

Bartolomé has a volcanic cone that is easy to climb and provides great views of the other islands. Bartolomé is famous for its Pinnacle Rock, which is the distinctive characteristic of this island, and the most representative landmark of the Galápagos.

It has two visitor sites. At the first one, one may swim and snorkel around Pinnacle Rock; the underwater world there is really impressive. Snorkelers are in the water with the penguins, marine turtles, white-tipped reef sharks, and other tropical fish. The bay is also an excellent place to go swimming. The twin bays are separated by a narrow isthmus.

Galapagos penguins are frequently seen, and a small cave behind Pinnacle Rock houses a breeding colony. Seasonally, Bartolomé is the mating and nesting site for the green turtles. With herons, they make use of the gentler beaches. The Galápagos lava cacticolonize the new lava fields.

Fourth Day: Pinzon Island.

From: 8:00 Am. To: 5:00 Pm.

To visit Pinzon Island we will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00.am to take you to the Itabaca Channel in Santa Cruz Island where you will board a boat, the drive from Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca Channel is about 45 minutes long. From the Itabaca Channel you will go to Daphne Islet, a 15 minute boat ride. Once at Daphne Islet you will snorkel about 45 min and do some bird watching from the boat, specifically looking for sea birds such as blue and masked footed boobies and frigatebirds. After Daphne you will go to a beach named“Bahia Borrero” borrero bay where you can do more amazing snorkel or just relax in its beautiful beach. and then Pinzon Island where you will spend most of the day. Here you will be able to jump into the water and experience some of the best snorkel in the world.

Highlights: Sea lions, Galapagos pengiuns, Dolphins, Reef sharks, Green sea Turtles, White tip sharks, Eagle Manta Rays, Diamond Manta Rays Great and variety of fish.

About Pinzon Island,

Pinzón Island, sometimes called Duncan Island (after Adam Duncan, 1st Viscount Ducan),Galapagos sea lions is an island in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador.

Pinzón is home to giant Galapagos totoises of the endemic subspecies (Chelonoidis nigra duncanensis) and other endemic species.

It has an area of 18 km2 and a maximum altitude of 458 meters.

Pinzón marks the geographical center of the Galápagos Islands, but neither of the two main Galápagos tree species are present. In the humid zone a unique species of daisy tree is found.

Fifth Day: Visit Isabela Island & Tintoreras Islet.

From: 7:00 Am. To: 5:00 Pm.

Isabela Island (Is the largest island of the Galapagos with an area of 4,640 square kilometres (1,790 sq mi) and length of 100 kilometres (62 mi) almost four times larger than Santa Cruz, the second largest of the archipelago. It was named after Queen Isabela of Spain. It was originally named Albemarle after the Duke of Albemarle. The island strides the equator.

One of the youngest islands, Isabela is located on the western edge of the archipelago near the Galapagos hotspot . At approximately 1 million years old, the island was formed by the merger of 6 shield volcanoes-Alcedo,Cerro Azul, Darwin, Ecuador,Sierra Negra and Wolf. All of these volcanoes except Ecuador are still active, making it one of the most volcanically active places on earth. Two of the volcanoes, Volcan Ecuador and Volcan Wolf (the island's highest point with an elevation of 1,707 m (5,600 ft), lie directly on the equator. The island is primarily noted for its geology, providing excellent examples of a geologic occurrence that created the Galapagos Island including uplifts at Urvina Bay and the Bolivar Channel, tuff cones at Tagus Cove, and Pulmace on Alcedo and Sierra Negra, one of the most active volcanoes in the world.

What you will do: visit the lagoon of the Flamingos, the tortise breeding center ¨La Galapaguera¨, have lunch, go to the Tintoreras, snorkel, return to Santa Cruz.

You can see: Galapagos Pinguins,White Tip Sharks, Flamingos, Green Sea Turtles, Blue Footed Boobies, Sea Lions, Marine Iguanas ans many variety of Fish.
